I'll be working with three images. For the engraving tasks I’m using the Civil War Era envelope “The traitors shall have Justice” from the American Memory collection (call number PR0223164). For all the remaining tasks, except for vignetting, I’m using a photograph by Dorothea Lang of an eastern Oregon one room school similar to the one my mother taught at during WWII. This is also from the American Memory collection (call number LCUSF34 021093C). My vignette will use an Authur Rothstein photograph of the chef at Rimrock Camp in central Oregon land development project gets ready to go into action on the dinner gong. This is also from the American Memory collection (call number LCUSF34 004700D). All three are resized and cropped.
