- Dispatches from the Tractor Division: A Big War as seen from a Small Ship The World War Two experiences of a Naval Rreserve Officer aboard a small ambhibious vessel in the Pacific Theater of that war.
- A Sense of Place: Fall River, Massachusetts in the Time of Lizzie Borden Examining the social and economic structure of a New England mill town in the late Victorian era by using maps to illustrate the spacial relationships within the community. The knowledge gained from this study can then be used to place the Borden murders in their social context.
